Mold Level Measurement with nuclear devices are most common for billet casters. Due to the direct pulse evaluation the measurement algorithm is fast enough to operate mold sizes down to 100x100mm or even 80mm round billet casters.

The Qualicast system works with Ronan or with Berthold nuclear gauges and eliminates the electronic evaluation units LB 352 and X96.
